The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015)

Hello There,

I (finally) went to see Insurgent. It has an all-star cast, including Shailene Woodley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Theo James (Golden Boy), Ansel Elgort (The Fault In Our Stars), Miles Teller (The Spectacular Now), Zoë Kravitz (X-Men: First Class), Octavia Spencer (Mom), Ashley Judd (Where The Heart Is), Naomi Watts (Le Divorce), Suki Waterhouse (Love, Rosie), Maggie Q (Nikita), Kate Winslet (The Holiday), Jai Courtney (Terminator: Genisys), Mekhi Phifer (Honey), and more.

Tris Prior must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side.

I give this movie 3/5 stars. Very good movie. They did change it quite a bit from the book (of coarse), but overall a very good movie.

Cannot wait for the next two movies.

I recommend that you read the books prior to watching the movies.

Hi There, Fellow Movie Lovers,

I saw the movie The Chateau Meroux. It stars Mara Sokoloff (Sugar & Spice ; Big Day), Barry Watson (7th Heaven ; Gossip Girl), Amanda Righetti (The Mentalist ; Role Models), Taylor Negron (So Little Time ; The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas), Daniel Bestreghi, and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future Trilogy ; Baby Geniuses).

A young woman is left a struggling winery in her father's will. While learning to manage it, she must contend with a cunning competitor and her feelings for his son.

I give this movie 2/5 stars. Watch the credits.
Wasn't a huge fan of this one. Barry and Marla both have so much potential as actors, and I felt this movie just wasn't the greatest choice for either of them.

Hey Hey Hey,

I saw the movie Portrait of Love. It stars Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars), Bree Williamson (One Life to Live), Ella Thomas (All My Children), and Caitlin Carmichael (Doc McStuffins).

A prominent fashion photographer returns to her small town roots at the request of a friend. Surrounded by both memories and loved ones, she must consider a choice between a successful future and rekindling both the love of her life and of her home.

I give this movie 2/5 stars.
Cute movie.
Also known as Heart of the Matter.

Hey Hey Hey,

I just watched the movie Mamma Mia. It stars a very large cast, including Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls ; Letters to Juliet), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger ; Agent Carter), Meryl Streep (Into The Woods ; The Devil Wears Prada), Pierce Brosnan (Mrs. Doubtfire ; Laws of Attraction), Colin Firth (What a Girl Wants ; Love Actually), Stellan Skarsgård (Thor ; The Avengers), Julie Walters (Harry Potter Movies ; Brave), and Christine Baranski (The Grinch ; Into The Woods).

A young woman about to be married discovers that any one of three men could be her father. She invites all three to the wedding without telling her mother. Told using hit songs by the popular '70s group ABBA.

I give this movie 4/5 stars.
Loved it!
Great music, great actors, great story.
It was quite hilarious, with a couple cute love stories.
I highly recommended this movie! Wish they would do a sequel! Watch the credits.
Pierce Brosnan CAN sing! Man! Can he sing!

Hi There,

I saw the movie Bad Hair Day. It stars Laura Marano (Austin & Ally), Leigh-Allyn Baker (Good Luck Charlie), Christian Campbell (Degrassi High ; Degrassi: School's Out!), and Kiana Madeira (Really Me).

A buddy comedy about a high school tech-whiz whose prom day abruptly shifts into a wild ride across town, thanks to a down-on-her-luck cop and a jewel thief.

I give this movie 2/5 stars. I think I laughed maybe twice. I knew it was going to be bad from the promos, but it was worse then I had imagined.
I dont recommended this movie at all, unless you feel like being bored (LOL).

I watched the movie From Justin To Kelly. It stars Kelly Clarkson (American Idol), Justin Guarini (American Idol), Katherine Bailess (One Tree Hill ; Bring It On Again), and Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog).

A waitress from Texas and a college student from Pennsylvania meet during spring break in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and come together through their shared love of singing.

I give this movie 3/5 stars. Love it. To be seen again and again!

Hello Fellow Movie Lovers,

I saw the movie Here On Earth. It stars Leelee Sobieski (The Glass House), Josh Hartnett (Blow Dry), and Chris Klein (Raising Hope ; American Pie).

A rich college kid is taught a lesson after a joy ride ends up destroying a country restaurant.

I give this movie 3/5 stars.
It was a great love story with a sad ending.
It reminded me of A Walk To Remember.
