I watched The Mummy starring Brendon Fraser (George of the Jungle), John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral), and Rachel Weisz (Oz: The Great and Powerful).
In 1923, a group of archeologists stumble upon a tomb at Hamunaptra. Inside this tomb the group finds the body of Imhotep, Pharoah Seti's priest and one-time lover of Seti's mistress. However, when the group accidentally brings Imhotep back to life, the results are fatal.
I give this 4 out of 5 stars.
Fun Facts:
-Brendon Fraser nearly died during a scene where his character is hanged, he stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated.
-The movie was so popular, Universal approved the sequel the day after this movie was released.
-The line "think of my children!" given by Beni in the scene aboard the riverboat was ad-libbed by Kevin J. O'Connor.
