I saw the movie Enola Holmes. This movie stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire).
When Sherlock Holmes's teen sister-discovers her mother is missing, she sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord.
I give this movie 3 out of 5 stars.
Fun Facts:
- Twice, Enola offers laboring boys £5 for their clothing. £5 in 1880 would be the equivalent of approximately £350 (US$455) in 2020.
- Millie Bobby Brown is one of the youngest actresses to have a Producer credit at age 16.
- Sam Claflin plays the eldest sibling in this movie, however he is actually 3 years younger than his onscreen younger brother Henry Cavill.
- This movie takes place in 1884.
- Fiona Shaw, the boarding school headmistress, also played the headmistress of a boarding school/finishing school in the movie Three Men and a Little Lady.
